The Le Sueur County Historical Society is seeking people interested in serving on its board of directors. Board candidates must be over the age of 18 and a LCHS member in good standing.
Four seats are open this year. All directors serve a two-year term. The Society meets every month in the evening at various locations in the county. Additional meetings could take place at the discretion of the board.
“LCHS continues to make great progress in its goal of establishing a museum to display the county’s historical treasures,” said current board member Paul Malchow, “but regular operations need to be maintained to make this all possible. A strong board is required to guide these operations. We’re looking for new people to become involved with new ideas.”

Board member elections will take place during the Society’s annual meeting on April 16.
